Hillary Arvé, M.A., LPC
Hillary graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has considerable experience working as a registered nurse in psychiatric emergency, inpatient, and chemical dependency units, as well as crisis intervention. Through this experience, Hillary developed a passion for pointing others towards healing and growth. This propelled her to pursue a career in counseling.
Hillary completed her Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. During her time at DTS, she began working for Denton County MHMR Mobile Crisis Outreach Team allowing her to develop skills necessary to respond to individuals feeling hopeless, suicidal, and/or homicidal. She is specialized in crisis intervention and certified as a crisis worker by the American Association of Suicidology. During her clinical coursework she gained experience in a wide range of settings including individual, group, and family therapy. Hillary has unique skills in counseling the following client concerns:

- Mood Disorders
- Stress Management
Hillary desires to walk alongside her clients towards growth and healing founded upon biblical truth and integrated with proven psychological methods. She believes in a holistic approach to counseling; viewing the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relationship aspects of one’s life as vital to the counseling process. She values the therapeutic relationship and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to break through barriers to achieve greater meaning and purpose. She approaches each client in a nonjudgmental and empathetic manner. Her Christian faith guides her counseling but she does not impose her beliefs or values on clients.
